HOTH Day 5: Anatomy of a Fondant Penguin with Fowl Single File

Hi, Folks!  I'm Megan and I run a little blog called Fowl Single File.  I love expanding my crafty horizons, sharing my endeavors and keeping track of my creations via blogging.

Lately (as in, the past year or so) I've been trying my hand at cake/cupcake decorating and I'm having a ball with it!  I've made these little guys twice for friends who requested goodies for their penguin parties and since Haul Out the Holly is all about fun Christmas projects, I've decided to show you how to make some, too!

What could be more festive than fondant penguins to add a cute, crafty touch to your holiday treats?  Swing by Fowl Single File to see the full tutorial!

I die from the cuteness! I already have a thing for penguins, and these are just too adorable. I love the mix of projects we are getting for this year's Haul Out the Holly! Megan is an amazingly talented cake decorator... you would never guess that she's only been doing it for a year. You absolutely need to check out the camping cake she made. She's also pretty amazing at putting together a party (like this polka dot birthday party). You have to see the sweet Christmas Mouse Embroidery Hoop that Megan made for last year's Haul Out the Holly. Make sure you visit her blog and leave a comment on her Anatomy of a Fondant Penguin tutorial! I'm so glad you could be a part of Haul Out the Holly again this year, Megan :)

One week down, two more to go! See you back here on Monday!
