A Little of This, A Little of That: Halloween Edition

I've got a few little things I want to share with you, so I've combined them into one big post.

First, check out this fantastic idea I came across the other day using my Halloween paper dolls printable. Kim over at Life of a Modern Mom took my paper dolls, laminated them, and made them into magnets for the fridge!

Isn't this a great idea?! I love it! My three year old has a hard time with the little tabs on the paper dolls, so this is an especially great idea for little ones so they can enjoy paper dolls, too.

Next up is a really cool cheesecloth ghost that I happened upon over at Everyday is a Crafting Day. I love the look of this, and I plan on picking up the supplies this weekend so I can make one. It really looks like this guy is floating!

I came to the realization the other day that I have really lame Halloween decorations... not that the few things I have are bad, but I really don't have that much. My Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations share the same small box in the basement. I seriously need to remedy this situation. One of the Halloween decorations I do have, however, is very cute, and I want to show it to you. My mother made this like 20 years ago, and I just love it.

Isn't she the cutest? I don't even know what to call her, but I really like her.

OK, that's all I've got. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great Columbus Day weekend!

Remember your first post where you said you would probably only post once or twice a week ;-) Great idea with the paper dolls. They have these magnet sheets that have a sticky side that I have used for max and ruby paper dolls. They weren't waterproof though. And I know what you mean when you say that your Halloween decorations are lame. I'm slowly remedying that problem. Should be ready just in time for next year! :-)

Lots of great ideas. And if your ghost gets smooshed, you can do what my MIL did and just get it wet and reshape it! (or what I would do- just make a new one;) )

Hi Gwen,
I'm your newest follower...honestly, I can't remember where I linked over from (I got lost in all the links!), but I'm so happy to have found your blog. I read a few of your older posts and really like your "voice". Just wanted to let you know that I'm reading along and can't wait to be inspired by your craftiness. :)
Aloha!

The paper doll turned magnet idea is genius. My 2 year old would love some of those. Thanks for sharing!
